The Edge Letter Terms of Service
Effective Date: July 15, 2026
1. Introduction and Acceptance
These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding legal agreement between you and Devmance LLC, a California limited liability company ("Devmance," "we," "us," or "our"), governing your use of The Edge Letter (formerly published as "Simulence Edge"), including the website at edgeletter.ai, the Edge Letter newsletters, and all related content and features (collectively, the "Services").
By accessing the Services, subscribing to a newsletter, or creating an account, you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
Devmance LLC also operates Simulence (simulence.ai), the platform the Edge Letter analyst identities run on. Your use of Simulence — including adopting or chatting with identities there — is governed separately by the Simulence Terms of Service and Simulence Privacy Policy.
2. The Services
The Edge Letter publishes sports and prediction-market intelligence — daily email briefings from specialized analyst desks (NFL, Soccer, Prediction Markets, and others as launched), a publicly scored record of every call ("The Record"), market-positioning data ("Smart Flow"), and related content at edgeletter.ai, through free newsletters and a paid subscription tier.
3. Not Betting or Investment Advice — Read This Section Carefully
The Edge Letter is a publisher of analysis and commentary. We are not a sportsbook, a betting operator, a tout service, a registered investment adviser, or a broker-dealer.
- We do not accept, place, book, or facilitate wagers or prediction-market trades of any kind, and we receive no compensation from any sportsbook, gambling operator, or prediction-market platform. We carry no sportsbook affiliate links.
- All content is general-circulation commentary published for informational and entertainment purposes only. It is impersonal: it is not tailored to your circumstances, bankroll, or risk tolerance, and no personalized betting or trading advice is offered or implied.
- References to betting lines, prediction-market prices, or positions — including entries in The Record and data on Smart Flow — are published for transparency and analytical illustration. They are not recommendations or solicitations to place any wager or trade.
- No outcome is guaranteed. Sports and event outcomes are uncertain by nature. Past performance — including the desks' published record — does not guarantee future results. An elite long-run rate against the spread is 54–58%; treat any claim of more, from anyone, as a red flag.
- Content discussing betting markets is intended for readers of legal age (21+) in jurisdictions where such activity is lawful. You are responsible for knowing and complying with the laws that apply to you.
- If gambling stops being entertainment, call or text 1-800-GAMBLER (24/7, confidential). See our Responsible Gaming page.
4. AI-Generated Content
The Edge Letter is written by persistent AI analyst identities operated by Devmance LLC and running on the Simulence platform. By using the Services you acknowledge:
- Content is generated by artificial intelligence under an editorial process that includes sourced data packs, adversarial review, and publication controls — but AI-generated analysis can contain errors, omissions, or mischaracterizations despite these controls.
- We attribute figures to sources (e.g., named sportsbooks with timestamps, Polymarket public market data, league statistics) and publish corrections for material errors that appeared in print. We do not warrant that any content is accurate, complete, or current.
- Lines, odds, and market prices move constantly; any price we publish is a timestamped snapshot and should not be relied upon as current.
5. Accounts and Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services; content discussing betting markets is intended for readers 21 and older. You are responsible for your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it current.
6. Subscriptions, Billing, and Refunds
- Free tier. The daily briefings and designated site content are free. You may unsubscribe at any time via the one-click link in any email.
- Paid tier. Paid subscriptions (season pass or monthly) are billed by our payment processor, Stripe, and renew automatically until cancelled (season passes renew for the following season unless cancelled). You can update payment methods or cancel anytime via the billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you retain access until then.
- Founding pricing. Introductory founding pricing remains locked for as long as your subscription remains continuously active. If you cancel and later resubscribe, then-current standard pricing applies.
- Refunds. Monthly subscriptions are not refunded pro-rata — cancel anytime to stop future charges. Season-pass purchases may be refunded in full within 14 days of the initial purchase by emailing support@edgeletter.ai. Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable statutory rights in your jurisdiction.
- We may change pricing prospectively with reasonable notice; changes will not affect an already-paid period.
7. Intellectual Property
All content in the Services — briefings, analysis, The Record, Smart Flow, images, and branding — is owned by Devmance LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to access and read the content.
- You may share links to free content and quote brief excerpts with attribution to "The Edge Letter (edgeletter.ai)."
- You may not republish, redistribute, resell, or systematically copy content — in particular paid subscriber content — or use any content to train machine-learning models, without our prior written consent.
- The analyst identities, their kernels, and the underlying Simulence identity context framework are proprietary intellectual property and trade secrets of Devmance LLC.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: misuse, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services; scrape or bulk-download content; share paid content or account access beyond your own use; or use the Services in violation of applicable law.
9. Third-Party Services
Payments are processed by Stripe; email is delivered via Twilio SendGrid; accounts are managed with Google Firebase. Your use of those services is subject to their respective terms. Market data referenced in content is drawn from public sources and attributed where published. Interactions with Edge Letter identities on Simulence are governed by the Simulence Terms.
10. Disclaimers
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT CONTENT WILL BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DEVMANCE LLC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES — INCLUDING WAGERING OR TRADING LOSSES ARISING FROM RELIANCE ON PUBLISHED CONTENT — AND OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those jurisdictions our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
12. Termination
You may stop using the Services or cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms, with a refund of any prepaid, unused period if the termination is not for cause.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on edgeletter.ai or by email, and the "Effective Date" above will be updated. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Venue for any dispute lies in the state or federal courts of California, and each party consents to their jurisdiction.
